SACC supports the following resolution taken at the World Cat Congress Annual Meeting in 2015 “WCC neither promotes nor approves the presence of wild feline species in connection with a cat show.”
This year the President’s Award was given to Jane Slabbert, a well- respected judge and foundation member of SACC.
The SACC Secretary, Ivone, will not be calling for nominations this year because positions were voted on last year and the term of office is 2 years.
Please be aware that any proposals to be included on the AGM Agenda must reach the Secretary by the end of August.
COTY 2016 will be hosted by PCS and will take place in KwaZulu Natal. Theme, venue and accommodation news!
Announcement: Johan, our hardworking Registrar, has dealt with the backlog of registrations and I am pleased to announce that things are back to normal. Office Hours 8.00am to 1pm.
Please remember that the onus is on you, the breeder, to ensure that your registration documents are lodged with the Registrar PRIOR TO the closing date of the show you intend to enter. This is a show rule.
Announcement: “You want to enter a Cat Show but you are still waiting for a Registration Number”?
You can still enter - the SACC Show Managers will assist by contacting the Registrar for a Registration Number.
The number will be given provided that the registration forms are already with the Registrar. Please remember that cats/kittens should be registered before the closing date of the show.
