About SACC Judges
General

Judges undergo thorough training and examination before they are allowed to judge on SACC shows.

Once qualified, a judge must belong to a Judges Panel. A list of all judges and their judging status gets published each year.  The list is available here, and some judges have made available their curriculum vitae.

There are four Judges Panels in SACC, each with its own constitution.  Follow the links below to view the Constitutions.

1. Cape Panel of Cat Judges
2. Cat Judges Inc. Panel
3. Independent Judges Network
4. Kwa-Zulu Natal Panel of Judges

The Judges Council has its own Constitution. Additionally, SACC has Rules for Judges, Judes Panels, Show Managers and Show Managers Forum.  These Rules may be viewed by following the links below:

The Judges Council is made up from delegates from the various Judges Panels.  Each year a Judges Symposium is held by delegates from the Judges Panels.

Below is a photo of some of the delegates that attended the Judges Symposium in 1998, held in Cape Town.
