The British Shorthair is classed as a foreign breed for show purposes. This is a strongly built cat with a round head, large round eyes and a crisp coat. The coat is unique to the breed and comes in numerous colours and patterns including silver and golden tipped/tabbies and pointed varieties although the British Blue is probably the best known
For more information on the breed in general speak to one of SACC's British Breeders and download the Standard of Points from the Governance Page of the website.
